artist statement

Having lived in four different countries, I’ve been immersed in diverse cultures that have profoundly influenced my perception of space and identity. This global perspective informs my work as I explore how the human form interacts with and transforms its environment.

Trained in graphic design and illustration, I developed a meticulous approach to composition and pattern-making. As a self-taught painter, I experiment with various media and subject matter, ultimately choosing acrylics for their versatility and thematic resonance.

My two-dimensional paintings feature layered imagery and intricate patterns, creating a nontraditional form of portraiture. These patterns serve as a metaphor for the dynamic geometry of the world, where the human figure seamlessly integrates into its surroundings.

I aim to craft images that captivate and invite intimate, subconscious engagement. Inspired by dreams, my work continuously evolves as I push the boundaries of my technique and vision.

Currently, I am seeking gallery representation and welcome inquiries regarding exhibition opportunities.
